Today, I remember 9/11. Though I’m sorrowful not everyone can say this, I’m thankful I wasn’t hurt and neither was anyone in my family. I’m thankful there hasn’t been another attack like that here on American soil. I’m thankful I live in a country that is not overrun with terrorism. I am not afraid to go outside or walk downtown.
My goal is to use this safety and freedom for God’s glory. I can be public about my faith. I can talk to others about Jesus. My goal is to increase that.
Dear God, thank You for protecting me. I pray Your protection on all Your children. I ask You to demonstrate a distinction between Your people and those who are not, that the world may learn it matters whether or not we are Your children. I am all Yours today; do with me as You will.
